Objectives of The M.U.M.

1) Establish the Perimeter
Secure the city limits and borders of Malton, preventing the spread of infection and the Undead to neighbouring communities, while ensuring that more infected individuals and roaming zombies cannot enter from neighbouring suburbs.

2) Cleanse the City of Infection
Exterminate the Undead, burning the corpses together with any other deceased citizens who have not risen from death. The safety and shelter of the surviving citizens of Malton, while remaining of equal priority to this objective, will be considered of secondary importance in the event that providing safety and shelter at any given time will circumvent efforts to eliminate the primary threat of infection.

3) Restore and Maintain Order
Which will include (but may not be limited to) the following specifics:
a) distribution of supplies (food, weaponry, medicine, etc)
b) providing basic governance and policing for the survivors
c) monitoring all frequencies and making preparations to assist and cooperate with federal emergency agencies and/or the military

To this end:
Recruits to the Malton Urban Militia will be enlisted and deployed to assist with efforts to scout and secure strategic border points along the city's perimeter. The M.U.M. is prepared to form coalitions with other organized benevolent survivor organizations and militia groups. Have your commanding officer contact acting commander Mayor MC Cheese at verbotenzone@privatentrance.f2s.com to register your group as a M.U.M. coalition member organization.

Warning:
Infiltrators from rebel agencies, PKers, and other contacts who actively oppose M.U.M. objectives will be tried for treason, and face summary execution at the discretion of Militia members.
Due to the extreme circumstances we face, an actual trial, court-martial, or clearance from a Militia commander
prior to execution of a traitor may not be a viable option and WILL NOT be required.

Stay tuned to 28.29 MHz for future update notices.
This has been your mayor speaking.
M.U.M.'s the word...
